MULTI MEDIA FILMOGRAPHY

Multi Media, a media organisation involved in making documentaries, educational and training films on a variety of subjects. It is an accredited news agency with the Indian National network (Doordarshan)- supplying news capsules for the National/International news bulletins. Multi Media has also supplied news capsules to International networks like BBC CNN and Asiavision. Multi Media is empanelled with Doordarshan and various other government agencies. Multi Media has all the required equipment for Production and post production. This includes cameras and editing systems.

2009-2010

  • Film on energy for the World Wide Fund for Nature, India

2006-2007

  • UK Environment Film Fellowship on Wildlife Crime – “Diminishing Resources. Telecast on Discovery Channel in July 2007 and screened at Vatavaran 2007
  • Community based tourism for an NGO Community Enterprise International Forum
  • Environmental Education project for CEE, Ahmedabad.

2005-2006

  • Four Part series on Environment & Wildlife of the North East for Doordarshan Guwahati, Assam
  • A film on Partridge Fights “The Silent World of Partridge Keeping” for the Public Service Broadcasting Trust. Telecast on Doordarshan 2006
  • A film on Keoladeo National Park for the World Wide fund for Nature, India “Seasons in the Sun “. Nominated for the Ornithological Festival in France. Received the Received the UGC-CEC Educational award for the best programme of the year 2007
  • Training video on the Tiger estimating techniques for Project Tiger and US Fish and wildlife Service .”Tracking Tigers”. Received the UGC-CEC Educational award for the category Environment & Development 2006.

2004-2005

  • Two short training films to train teachers to deal with disabled children for the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
  • A short promotional film for the National zoological park, Delhi
  • A film on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences

2003

  • A series of 3 short film for the Wildlife Institute of India on Keoladeo National Park, Kaziranga National Park and Chitwan National Park
  • A film on Solar Cookers for IRNET

2002

  • A film on High Altitude wetlands - Ladakh- A Fragile Heritage, for World wide Fund for Nature
  • A film on the WWF-ICEF environment education project for World wide Fund for Nature

2001

  • A film on Bird Sanctuaries of Uttar Pradesh for U.P.Tourism “ Flight of Discovery”
  • A film on Harike project by the Army “Harike-The new Avian Paradise”

1998-99-2000

  • A film against Minor driving for the Delhi Traffic Police
  • A film on the Ranthambore Eco-Development project of the World Wide Fund for Nature, India
  • A film on the Joint Forest Management in Jhabua for the Swedish SIDA
  • A series on environment titled “Prakriti Ek Parichye” for Doordarshan
  • A series of 6 films for the Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment on the “Facilities for the Disabled”.
  • A film documenting the Siberian Crane Project at Bharatpur for the Ministry of Environment and Forests
  • A training film on Drug Control for the UNDCP
  • A training Film for LML on their new scooter model Trendy
  • A film on the Ganga Action Plan for the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India

Prior to 1998

  • A documentary film against Cruelty to animals aiming to sensitise people to the cruelty of killing animals for sports and for other human needs. The film was responsible for a landmark High Court judgement, which led to the shutting of the Delhi Slaughter House. The film also resulted in raising the issue of Animal rights.
  • A promotional film for the World Wide Fund for Nature, India.
  • A film on the Zoos of India - titled "Zoos Centres of Conservation for the Central Zoo Authority, Ministry of Environment & Forests
  • A documentary film on the Tiger census at the Ranthambore National Park in 1989
  • A film documenting the Siberian Crane project 1995-97 at Bharatpur and the attempt made to save the cranes from extinction.
  • Various spots for the World Wide Fund for Nature India on "Saving the Tiger" "Care and Compassion for animals" and "Biodiversity" These spots were being shown on the Indian National network (Doordarshan).
  • Produced and Directed a 16 part serial titled "Heads & Tails" on Animal rights for animal rights activist and former Minister of State for Environment & Forest, Mrs Maneka Gandhi

Multi Media has its own technical infrastructure and professionally trained personnel like Camerapersons, Editors, Sound Recordists, and Scriptwriters
