SKM Wildlife Conservation Foundation is a voluntary Trust, which works in the area of environment and wildlife with special focus on Animal rights, Zoo education and interventions in management facilities. Himanshu Malhotra a trustee of the SKM has been involved in the Animal rights movement and the Zoo movement since his childhood. He has on a voluntary basis worked with the Zoo in multiple areas, like education, production of audio visual material, designing of reports for improvements of enclosures and facilities, visitor response surveys etc. He has been a member of the Advisory Board, national zoological Park, Delhi, an Honorary Wildlife Warden, Delhi and is a member Zoo Design Committee, Central Zoo Authority. As an animal rights activist his work has been responsible for many court rulings on circuses and cruelty in favour of animals. Pankaj Malhotra is a filmmaker and a journalist with a keen business, public relation and management acumen.

The Trust is actively engaged in saving all forms of animals, with a special attention on birds. Working as a voluntary organization, the Trust is registered, and has an 80G exemption.
